After Jen's comment I took off my name, address and phone number...after Jana's comment I took off everybody else's last names...although what I'm saying is completly my opinion and I don't think I'm slandering anyone??? But I'll take your advice everybody...I'm starting to cool off can you tell?

I do believe Laura was treated VERY disrepectfully by a board member ... very belittled. I do think that if that person is representing the board's opinion/decision, then the board should be informed of how that person represented them all. I don't know if they'd all agree, but it would be kind of sick if they did and makes my skin crawl that I send my children there to such a close-minded society. I do hope this letter prompts some kind of deeper consideration and response than "You chose to live there; I chose to live by my church and school." I thought the letter was very well written to include the names of the children that their decision was affecting. But you're right, the first and last names are a security concern as far as the internet goes!

Just to clarify... I have no idea what the situation is or what happened or any of that. It was apparent to me, by the title of the post that you were hot about whatever happened. From someone who at one time was not careful about using full names and saying exactly what I felt and got into heaps and heaps of trouble because of it - please be careful about doing this. I would probably re-edit one more time to include just the initials of the kids that were affected and not their full names - even your own kids for security's sake.

The letter is good and I hope it accomplishes whatever you want it to accomplish, please just be careful about what you're posting on the world wide web. (especially in our small dutch CRC community - could create many issues).

Oooohhhhhhh I missed something! I must go find it! Watch that "slander" word - people like to use & abuse it, even if they don't know what it means. ;)
