Superwoman

This post is entirely self-serving and unashamedly self-promoting and unquestionably egotistical...that is just a warning...

Yesterday, I got 5 children up, clean, dressed, fed and to church by 8:15 am all by myself! Wow! I'm still asking myself how I did it! But we were there. We all were dressed properly, no one's face was too messy and all of our shoes were on and they even matched! (The whole shoe thing...it's a sore spot with me...)

I feel great!

I feel tired!

I'm a SUPERWOMAN!

Join me fellow SUPERWOMEN...tell us what you've done lately!

5 Children? 1-Christian; 2-Emily; 3-Jed; 4-Wesley; 5-DOUG?? Ohh, but Doug's face was messy when I saw him and I think he had spinach in his teeth. I don't recall if Doug's shoes matched, but the song "More Than a Friend" that he sung was absolutely a worshipful experience for me. Ohhh..this was about Superwoman Christine...sorry! You truly are a super woman!

I'm guessing #5 was Elizabeth?

I am trying to pack the house to move on Sat, do payroll and taxes, have our first MOPS steering meeting, and take care of 3 kids all at once.

Does that count? Oh and work on another stellar blog post.

I'm working on my secret project, trying to keep up with laundry, taking Nora to and from VBS, letting Ryann do everything herself (because she insists), paying bills, barely providing meals and still drinking coffee and blogging.

I think Kim takes the prize - rectal temperatures in a 20 month old = not fun.

I am VERY impressed with the 5 kids to church by 8:15 thing. What time did you wake up that morning?

Got up at 6:00 am to make coffee for my hard working husband who was off to the hostpital by 7:00am. Not too bad. The scary thing is there was a time in my life when I only had 1 kid that I would hesitate to watch any other children because it was "too difficult." Whatever...it's all about perspective.

I think Carol and Christine win...they conspired together to have Carol watch all 13! yes 13 children so that I wouldn't have to go to the hospital alone yesterday. Talk about BFF, I love these SUPERWOMEN. Christine, I think the tie would have been broken if you had graciously taken one of my barium cocktails for me! Love ya girlfriend! I am blessed to have both of you in my life!
