Webkinz! Emily got one of these stuffed animals that comes with a special code for internet access. When I was telling my mom to get her one I couldn't figure out what the appeal was...but after a day on the website I'm totally hooked. How pathetic! The whole gist of the site is that you play games for Kinzcash and then you get to go the the W store and spend it on things like virtual clothes, furniture, decorating, food, vehicles...and this store has it all. There are 17 different types of beds to choose from an assortment of clothes and every hour they have different sales...can you believe this? Emily has been whinning that she hasn't gotten to play because I'm hogging it all...but what does she know? I think I need my own...that's what she's been telling me. How sad!

Let Emily play already! We can do it for "REAL"! Does this mean you are getting into pampering Otto and wanting to buy him cute little outfits and beds and stuff? AWWWW!!! That's so cute! I knew you loved him!!! But I'd rather shop for furniture for us and clothes for us, not our dogs, okay?
No it's not real clothes...they are for her stuffed animal...= )
the perfect pet for Christine...no smelly doggie breath, the dog can't beg you to pet it, you don't have to clean up the dog food it moves all around the house, you don't have to groom it, and you get to compete to shop! I totally get why you would love it so much...now, go get something done! ;)
I had to admit this, but I LOVE IT TOO!!!!! It's pretty pathetic when I'm playing games to get cash for my daughter to spend. It's also pretty sad when she says, "can I have a turn now." :)
Did anyone read the article in the Banner about WebKinz being a "gateway to gambling" for kids?
Caroline has one too but I have no idea how to use the thing. I'm much more into reading blogs of people I've never met! :-)
