I'm exhausted! What a Game!

We had Time and Jen and the girls over today to watch the game. And what a game it was! We had good food, a great game and lots of beer...not for Jen though. Just us.

Can you believe that game? I think I put a hole in the carpet from pacing so much. And I feel I need to apologize to the Lampen's for my loud outbreaks of "Throw the *$%# ball!" or "What the *&%$@?" I tend to shout and clap real loud and I often find it hard to stay sitting on the couch...tend to jump, fall on the floor or pound the ground. Watching football is a very physical activity. Doug snickers at me and shakes his head but deep down I think he's thinking, "I've got such a cool wife."

After we cheered so loud we woke Greta and the game was over Doug and Tim went down to the basement for X-box time and the kids followed them to play with the toys in the basement. Having a few minutes of peace was a beautiful thing.

Greta, Wesley and Millie had a great time chasing each other and playing tackle. They were so cute I had to take some pictures to show all of you. I wish you could hear them giggling it was adorable.

Next week the game is on at our house again...and it's an open invitation...GO BEARS!

Bear down, Chicago Bears, I don't know anymore words. . .

What fun we had! Awesome awesome game. And no, you do not need to apologize. I am normaly the same way except now any sudden movement makes me dizzy and pukey!

The kids were so cute. . .love Wes peeking at Greta! Greta talked about him all the way home. Mimi snored. Loudly.

We'll be there next week. . .get some food and I'll throw ya some $$. :-)

I wanna hang out with you! Maybe I can talk Jared into looking for a job in IL??? Sounds like a fun night. And I think you're right...doug probably WAS thinking you're cool for getting so into the game. :)

You? Pacing and yelling at the television? I just can't imagine that! Cute, cute pics! I was hoping to get a peak at the pregnant woman. Is she sporting any maternity wear yet? Looks like fun! Maybe we can join ya next week! And maybe you can join us for SuperBowl this year!

that sounds like it would have been fun! i don't have any fellow bears fans to hang out with down here in TN. not even my husband - he's a dorky lions fan (um, can you say 3-13? and they couldn't even hang on to the first round draft pick! ha!).

anyways, sounds like you had a great time. i'll be there next week in spirit!

We are the Bears Shufflin' Crew
Shufflin' on down,
doin' it for you.
We're so bad we know we're good.
Blowin' your mind like we knew we would.
You know we're just struttin' for fun
Struttin' our stuff for everyone.
We're not here to start not trouble.
We're just here to do the Super Bowl Shuffle Uh Huh..."
